UPPERTOWN SOCIAL CENTER HONOURS 30 YEARS OF TCS
          PERFORMANCES
Don was taken aback on saturday 9th june 2007 when after two sets at uppertown USC chairman Eddie Marriott took to the stage to make a surprise presentation.Eddie started by reading parts of the minutes from the 1971-1977 minutes book saying that the booking of TCS coinsided with the Queens silver jubillee & the two could be linked together however this didn't happen & TCS played their first gig at USC on the 3rd june 1977.Eddie then read a few more funny passages concluding that TCS performed there 4 times that year.Eddie then fetched his mum Mrs Marriott up to present Don with an engraved USC tankard with his name on and a print of a watercolour painting by none other than June Heywood.Mrs Marriot also presented Lynda with an engraved wine goblet and each of the band with an engraved tankard.Everyone there had a brilliant night which included a surprise set by James Mckeefry and 30 years after that first gig people were being turned away at the door.
Don & TCS would like to thank Eddie & the commitee for the lovely presentation & gifts.
